One of my most cherished memories of Debbie came from the Heart Walk the year she passed in 2013. For me, her spirit was there – connecting all who gathered in her honor. I started off the morning so solemn but ended up (literally) kicking up my leg, laughing and celebrating my beautiful friend with old friends I hadn’t spoken to in years and with new friends I am still in touch with today. That’s just like Debbie to bring people together in friendship and with purpose!
