Debbie always loved a birthday celebration! I can’t recall a year in our friendship that I didn’t get a call from Debbie to wish me “Happy Birthday” or remind me of another friend’s birthday.  No matter how near or far she was from me physically, I always had the joy of seeing her smile or hearing a smile in her voice on my special day.  Thanks to lasting memories (and FB feed memories) I still see her smile every birthday.
