Debbie and I spoke once about the fact that we had known each other longer than we hadn’t.  In that moment, we acknowledged that our friendship was truly special and our bond would last a lifetime.   We didn’t know how long a “lifetime” would be; however, our friendship lives on in my heart and through the great work of the foundation founded in her honor.  e are BFFs – best friends forever!
